Its about time!

This morning President Obama imposed a 500,000 pay cap on senior executives whose firms receive financial help from the government. 

My first thought is, "Its about time!" Take their money and give it to the homeless or something of Robin Hood type nature. 

These high ranking executives of financial companies begged for a big buyout and then in return gave themselves extravagant bonuses. 

I wonder how much their bonuses would be if they did a good job! 

During the speech Obama made an interesting point when talking about how our society has become a “culture of narrow self-interest and short-term gain at the expense of everything else.” 

Unfortunately he is right, who do these business people think they are spending bucket loads on money on themselves when people are having trouble paying the rent or putting food on the table! 

This pay cap is just the first steps towards something we all learned in kindergarten= taking responsibility for your actions.
